Make your visual novel readable: Good UI for your textbox
While visual novels give us seemingly infinite design potential, this can also be a double-edged sword: In the worst case, your textbox is scaring away potential players or torturing your existing ones. But style and readability don’t need to be opposed to each other! This talk covers fundamental rules every textbox should follow, and tricks to find out if you’ve been (unintentionally) breaking them.
