Interactive fiction designer, UB4Q
Ruqiyah is an independent interactive fiction designer with strong feelings on making people sad. She is working on a relationship simulator visual novel about dumb horny teens planning an assassination and making terrible decisions, and spends a lot of time thinking about the skip-read function.

How does it change the nature of a VN? How can we write so that the player’s experience can be preserved even when they’re skipping through the game?
